Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American model, TV host and actress - is an American comedian. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012 when she was just 4 years old old. She had double pneumonia due to an aggressive strain of strep-pneumococcal. The young lady desperately required medical assistance that could save her life and was put on ECMO Life-support in Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. The patient became sick, and suffered organ failure including kidneys that did not recover. It was then a regimen of hemodialysis, followed by peritoneal dilution. After nearly 80 days in the hospital, from death towards recovery, she got home, however the course of her life changed forever. Angelica was on dialysis for a year-and-ahalf before she was finally ready to undergo the biggest procedure of her existence, a kidney transplant. It was her mother who would donate the kidney. Angelica Hale along with her mother went through the transplant of a kidney in Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th, 2013. Angelica Hale is pursuing her stardom dreams ever since.
